Igor couldn’t defeat #1

The best ranked player of the Global Poker League Fedor Holz defeated Igor Kurganov 2 to 1 on Heat IV of the Global Poker League Summer Series.

Of course this was one of the most entertaining matches. Why? Because they are two of the best players around, they play Super High Roller on a regular basis and watching a heads up match between them is hard unless there are millions in play.

The Russian player was up after 45 hands but then everything changed and Fedor became the dominant player. The German player won the next two matches in only 61 hands and took six points with him.
