Mike Watson is the champion of the 2016 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event after defeating Tony Gregg who finishes as runner-up of the PCA for second time in his career.
Watson and Gregg reached a deal and the Canadian player took home $728,325 while the American player took $612,175. Watson had a great day eliminating the first two players of the table.
“It means a lot to win a Main Event with a big field and especially the PCA being one of the flagship events of the EPT, and really a premiere event in the whole poker calendar. It has special meaning to me that Steve Paul-Ambrose won it ten years ago. He was a mentor to me and that makes it extra sweet.” said Watson.
