Day 1B of the $500.000 Guarantee Punta Cana Poker Classic Main Event played at the luxurious Hard Rock Hotel & Casino registered 318 entries for a $850,500 prizepool. At the end of the day 112 players remain alive led by Serbian player Dragan Pesic who finished the day with a 248,800 stack.

Huge names such as Mario Lopez , Farid Jattin , Guillermo Olvera and Ivan Marquez among others will return today looking for a share of the prizepool.

Unfortunately not all of the players had a great day and were eliminated. Faraz Jaka , Alex Brenes , Erick Brenes , Richard Dubini , Rodrigo Quezada and Yoel Palmar won’t be able to fight for a share of the prize but they will have the opportunity to play the NL Hold’em Turbo Survivor or the Caribbean Poker Tour side event.
