It’s been almost two months since Full Tilt, sister room to PokerStars, changed its reward scheme, making it  much friendlier for recreational players. The idea was to choose between the EDGE system or move towards Players Club, which has some very special characteristics. One of them, The Deal, is a new game with a progressive jackpot that gave Brazilian player, «skipshot383» $45,009.72.

The pot at the time was at $90,019.44 with 50% going to the Brazilian player and  50% to anybody else who took part in The Deal in the last 12 hours: 6,587 players got $6.83 in their accounts.

The first player to take the jackpot was a person from Canada who coaches hockey for a living. He was playing on the mobile app on September 16th when he hit the big prize and took no more and no less than $116,935.59.
