Ireland’s Daniel Wilson became the Irish Poker Main Event champion last weekend after defeating his fellow countryman Michael Conaty . Wilson took home a €150,000 prize and the trophy which now increases his lifetime winnings to $442,631.
Conaty was leading the field and ultimately also made it all the way to second place before getting defeated by Wilson after a 90-minute long heads up battle. An A K would bring Wilson the victory after Conaty five-bet jammed with nines and an ace hit on the flop.
