Desde este viernes y hasta el lunes 20 se disputará el PokerStars Championship en el Sortis Hotel & Casino de Panamá City -donde como previa se jugó el Jackie’s Poker Tour– y lo hará con una serie de cambios con respecto a la edición pasada en Bahamas . De partida, se tenían previsto hacer 56 eventos, pero ahora la cifra bajó a 46.

Además se hicieron las siguientes modificaciones:

– Ocho niveles de re-entry para los side events más importantes
– Un re-entry para los side events destacados
– Un US$10.300 Second Chance High Roller el 19 de marzo
– Torneos con buy-in extra chicos, stacks más grandes y niveles más largos

Encima, el shot clock, que tan buena recepción tuvo en Bahamas , regresará a Panamá para el US$50.000 Super High Roller y para el US$27.750 High Roller Single Day.

Pero eso no es todo. Lo mejor queda para el final. En total habrá 600 mil dólares garantizados en eventos que no superan los US$1.100 de buy-in. Veamos:

– US$440 PokerStars Cup – US$150 mil garantizados
– US$220 PokerStars Open – US$50 mil garantizados
