Fedor Holz won the WPT National Philippines 200K Super High Roller just a few weeks after winning the WPT Alpha8 Las Vegas. Only 52 players paid the $200,000 buy-in to create a $10 million dollar prizepool with $$3,463,500 to the champion.
The event saw huge names such as Isaac Haxton , Tom Dwan , Brian Rast , Phillipp Gruissem , Dominik Nitsche and John Juanda who didn’t survive Day 1. Only eleven players advanced to Day 2 where Stephen Chidwick was the first elimination and Stanley Choi the bubble boy.
Fedor reached a deal with David Peters for $3,063,500 dollars, the trophy and an Aurae MasterCard 14K with $10,000 dollars. Peters took home $2,709,000 dollars after finishing second in a tournament with the biggest names of the industry.
