Polish player Sebastian Malec turned a satellite into 1,122,800 euros after winning the Main Event of the first stop of the thirteenth season of the PokerStars.es European Poker Tour Barcelona. Malec defeated Uri Reichenstein who started the day as chip leader but couldn’t hold the lead.
Adam Owen took the third place for a €646.250 prize to complete the podium. The event registered 1,785 entries to become the biggest, and last, European festival held in Barcelona.
