Hace pocas horas se entregaron los Global Poker Awards en el estudio de PokerGo en el casino Aria de Las Vegas , premiación que entregó 20 trofeos a lo más destacado del poker mundial.

Los grandes ganadores de la noche fueron Almedin “Ali” Imsirovic que se llevó el premio de Jugador Sorpresa del Año, otro destacado de la noche fue Justin Bonomo quien obtuvo el premio Momento del Año por su trifecta en el Super High Roller. La estatuilla al Torneo del Año, fue otra vez para el Main Event de la WSOP.

Nuestra amiga María Connie Lampropulos  participó en la categoría Mejor Actuación del Año por su victoria en el Main Event del PCA, sin embargo, no pudo quedarse con la estatuilla ya que la victoria de John Cynn en el Main Event de la WSOP se impuso.
