After 67 events in Las Vegas , the 2015 World Series Of Poker will pick up with 10 more chances en Berlín for all those who seek to be distinguished as POY: Player of the Year for the WSOP.
Here are the main three contenders:
1st Mike Gorodinsky
After only getting one pay out in 2014, this has been an enlightening season for him and he got 7 ITMs, among them the bracelet he won for one of the toughest tournaments in the world, Event #44 50k The Player’s Championship, which combines 10 different playing modalities. He also came in 2nd at Event #17 10k Razz Championship and 3rd at Event #32 NLH Six-Handed, surpassing the sum of one and a half million dollars in cashouts.
2nd Brian Hastings
After several events that had him among the better placing players at the Main Event, he finished 49th but got enough points to leap to the top 10. His strong points were the two bracelets he got at: Event #27 10k Stud Championship and Event #39 1,5k Ten-Mix SH.
3rd Anthony Zinno
He is not just the third ranking player in this ranking, but he also spearheads the GPI Player Of The Year ranking. This is why, before even arriving at Vegas, he earned three WPT titles.
